Turnitin’s Status Page (turnitin.statuspage.io) will give you all the latest information about Turnitin’s current system status.
Status banner
The banner at the top of the page will indicate the current system status.
The green banner indicates that all systems are operational. If you are experiencing issues, please contact your institution’s system administrator or your network provider.
The yellow banner indicates that there is currently a degraded performance on one or more of the services. The banner will be expanded to give more details about the situation.
The amber banner indicates that there is a partial outage. This means that some services are experiencing issues. The banner will be expanded to give more details about the situation.
The red banner indicates that there is a major outage. We are working to rectify this. The banner will be expanded to give more details about the situation. Check https://twitter.com/TurnitinStatus for the latest updates.
The blue banner indicates that maintenance to one or more of our services is in progress. The banner will be expanded to give more details about the situation.
Which environment(s) am I hosted on?
There are six different Turnitin environments you may be on depending on which Turnitin product you use. Select the product you use to see which component(s) of the status page pertains to you.

If you are using one of these products then you will be in one of the following environments:
- Turnitin
- TurnitinUK
How do I know which environment to select?
If you are accessing Turnitin via turnitin.com then select the Turnitin component to see the relevant system status.
If you are accessing Turnitin via turnitinuk.com then select the TurnitinUK component to see the relevant system status.
If you are accessing Turnitin through an LMS (eg. Blackboard or Moodle) and are unsure about which environment it uses, please contact your administrator to find out which service to select.

If you are using these products then you will be hosted on one of the following environments:
- Americas (US environment)
- Europe (EU environment)
- Asia Pacific (Asia Pacific environment)
How do I know which environment to select?
This is primarily based on your location and proximity to one of our service center locations, and most of the time you will be able to make an assumption based on your location. If you are unsure or believe you are in an ambiguous location, contact your Turnitin administrator or sales rep to find out.
