Paper submission wait period

What happens when a submitter chooses "I don't want to wait – please accept this file as my submission and keep trying to process it" from the options in the long wait screen?

If the submitter chooses to have Turnitin keep trying to process the submission, Turnitin will accept the uploaded file as the submission. Turnitin will attempt to process the file, generate an Originality Report with the file's formatting intact and to make the file available for marking in GradeMark.

What happens if there is an issue with processing the submission after a submitter chooses "I don't want to wait – please accept this file as my submission and keep trying to process it" from the options in the long wait screen?

If there is an issue processing the file, the text of the file will be extracted (if possible) and a text-only Originality Report will be created. The submitted file will be available for the instructor and student to download and a notice will appear in the instructor inbox which will allow the instructor to resend the file in an attempt to process it again.

What happens if the submitter leaves without selecting an option from the long wait screen?

If the submitter leaves without choosing whether Turnitin should continue to try processing the file the submission will be canceled. The submission process will not be completed.
