Institutional student paper matches displaying as private content

Student paper matches within an institution will currently display as private content. An update to support displaying matches is currently in testing and due for release soon.

Submissions match across integrations

The location of the submission data from this integration is currently separate to the data captured from the Feedback Studio LTI 1.3 external tool integration. This means submissions can potentially match across integrations if stored in the same repository. There are updates in progress to align data and support data access.

Users cannot access assignments and submissions outside of the integration

It is not currently possible to access Blackboard Ultra assignments/submissions via the Turnitin website.

[Similarity Report] Small matches assignment setting not working as expected

Adjustments made to the small match exclusion threshold in the assignment settings are not reflected in the new report for submissions to that assignment. Additionally, the new report experience does not accommodate a percentage threshold for small matches at this time. You can still set a threshold by word count.

[Similarity Report] TFS with Originality users are unable to access Submission Details

TFS with Originality users are not currently seeing Submission Details in the new Similarity Report experience.

[Similarity Report] Small matches filter language is unclear

When viewing the Similarity Report, the small matches setting is in the include section, implying the expected behavior when selected would be that small matches are included in the report. However, when the setting is selected and the ‘fewer than XX words’ option becomes visible, when applied, the small matches are actually excluded. We are revisiting the language and design of this feature to address this.

[Resolved] When the ‘No Due Date’ setting is selected, submissions become stuck

A bug was found with the new 'No Due Date' setting in the Blackboard Ultra workflow. The Turnitin integration workflow currently requires a due date in order to handle collusion check functionality, however when the option of no due date is selected, there was an issue where submissions became stuck in a processing state.

[Resolved] Potential for self-matching when students submit the same document twice

An issue was discovered with self-matching, where if a student submits the same document twice, the two submissions will match.
