How to opt-out of the new Similarity Report

If you are a Crossref Similarity Check customer or have been using iThenticate 2.0 before October 18th, 2023, administrators in your account will be able to opt out of the new Similarity Report experience in the account settings. This will disable the new report completely for all users. AI writing functionality preview will not be impacted by opting out of the new experience.

Log in to your Turnitin account as an administrator.
Select Settings from the left sidebar.
Under the New Similarity Report Experience section, select Disable to opt-out of the new Similarity Report for your institution.

While opted in, users will have the option to view either the new or the classic Similarity Report.

Select the Save button to apply this setting.
